Paint Line (Manufacturing/Industrial Coatings) Supervisor

What will you do?

• Ensure safe operation of all Paint Line equipment, including pre-treatment washers, ovens, booths, and conveyors; identify risks and collaborate with Engineering to reduce hazards.
• Lead, train, and develop Paint Department staff, including Painters and Material Handlers, ensuring compliance with best practices and standard work.
• Optimize product hang patterns and paint application to maximize efficiency and minimize material waste.
• Oversee daily loading/hanging of product on the Paint Line to meet production goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of all paint equipment and booths to ensure smooth operations and quality output.
• Serve as liaison with paint suppliers to optimize material composition for productivity and quality.
• Implement and manage Quality Control plans, perform daily testing, and maintain records to meet customer, company, and regulatory standards.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reduce downtime.

What do you need to succeed?

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in paint or surface treatment operations.
• Proficient with spray painting techniques, including HVLP, electrostatic spray guns, and pressure pots.
• Strong knowledge of painting terminology and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and structured in approach.
