Sourcing Specialist

What will you do?

• Source and purchase materials and components for production and NPI
• Support new product launches from development through production
• Onboard and qualify new suppliers, ensuring compliance and capability
• Coordinate prototype, pilot, and production orders with suppliers
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams
• Manage RFQs, pricing, lead times, and supplier performance

What do you need to succeed?

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in sourcing or purchasing (industrial experience a plus).
• Experience managing large numbers of SKUs and complex supply chains.
• Technical aptitude-ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with supplier development, performance reviews, and risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with Kanban systems and ERP software.
• Solid experience in contract management, including international agreements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-comfortable collaborating across departments.
