Quality Assurance Manager

Who are you?
The QA Manager oversees all quality plans within SeedMaster. This role leads the quality assurance department by managing and continuously improving quality and reliability testing systems for the organization's products and procedures.

What will you do?
- Maintain and continually improve a quality assurance program.
- Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
- Maintain quality culture and conduct quality assurance training for all employees.
- Set quality objective aligned with the business plan and create action plans to ensure target achievement.
- Partner with purchasing and engineering to ensure quality compliance of supplied materials.
- Lead and guide a team to achieve business objectives in a timely manner.
- Ensure all required documentation is complete, maintained, and administered for the QA programs.
- Perform root-cause analysis on quality issues, working with the team as required. Clearly outlining expectations and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Responsible for preparing data and trend analysis to determine quality issues and reduce defects.
- Plan, lead, and perform QA Audits on finished products to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Support our customer service department, investigating warranty and customer issues.
- Coordinate manufactured product testing and validation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, supporting overall production and manufacturing.
- Responsible for daily functions as set out in the QA practices and procedures.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of QMS experience is required.
- Lean manufacturing training or equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Supervisor experience is considered an asset.
