Who are you?
As an Expeditor, you will setup and release production work orders to meet the MPS (master production schedule). Ensure parts are available to support the production schedule. Enter transactions for work orders and inventory transfers.
Monitor inventory on shop floor and accuracy of inventory records on the manufacturing system. Control both physically and on the manufacturing system inventory movement, location and account assignment.
Communicate with all production and support areas on issues affecting MPS.
What will you do?

Set up and release work orders with required due dates to meet MPS.

Ensure parts are on order and scheduled to arrive on time to support MPS.
- Monitor inventory on shop floor and manufacturing system records for accuracy
- Confirm inventory through cycle counts and WIP verification
- Track Parts and location of Parts for production, and new product launch activities.

Complete daily Online/Offline report entries for assembly line

Record line entries and close offline tractor orders daily

Follow up with work order entries and transactions for confirmed inventory

Review rejected items for Scrap or transfer to Quality and enter appropriate transactions on the system, including account assignment.

Liaise with foremen, planners, and managers on status of work orders vs MPS and all supporting inventory and tooling issues to coordinate production.

Ensure parts received late are moved promptly from the Receiving dock to consuming department work center.

What do you need to succeed?
- Post-secondary education in Production and Inventory Control or equivalent Manufacturing experience preferred
- Computer skills and experience working within an ERP system
- Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Fork lift experience is required
- Good written and verbal communication
- Able to operate effectively in a demanding team environment.
- Strong organizational skills
