Production Control Coordinator

What will you do?

• Analyze and process MRP action messages to create shop floor work order packages and supplier shipment release schedules
• Perform cycle counts, as well as inventory and labour transactions on MAPICS systems
• Inventory accuracy and investigation of discrepancies
• Contact outside vendors to expedite incoming material shipments, and create and maintain priority lists

What do you need to succeed?

• High School or equivalent. Post-secondary education is an asset
• Experience in an MRP based production environment is a definite asset
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Previous experience in production coordinating
• Previous experience working with inventory is an asset
• Knowledge of farm equipment is preferred
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a busy work environment
• Computer skills. Experience with AS400 is a definite asset
