Who are you?
We are looking for a skilled Jig & Fixture Builder to support our engineering and production teams by designing, building, and maintaining jigs, fixtures, and tooling that improve safety, repeatability, quality, and throughput on the shop floor.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working closely with engineers and operators, and turning concepts or CAD drawings into robust, real-world tooling.

What will you do?
- Design, build, modify, and repair jigs, fixtures, and shop tooling
- Work from CAD drawings, sketches, and engineering concepts
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve manufacturability
- Support new product introductions (NPI) with prototype fixtures
- Troubleshoot tooling issues on the shop floor and implement improvements
- Ensure fixtures support repeatable, safe, and efficient production
- Maintain tooling documentation and revisions
- Follow shop safety and quality standards
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience building jigs and fixtures in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of:
- Machining processes (manual mill, lathe, drilling, tapping, grinding)
- Welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG is an asset)
- Measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined
