What will you do?

• Developing and executing cost reduction strategies.
• Staying current on new product developments and product changes.
• Managing supplier end-of-life and continuity plans to prevent production delays.
• Acting as a liaison between Suppliers and Engineering for new product proposals, design changes, and cost savings.
• Establishing and maintaining strong, strategic supplier relationships.
• Creating and managing supplier contracts, NDAs, and other key agreements.
• Managing First Article Inspection (FAI) purchase orders and approvals.
• Investigating and resolving purchase order price discrepancies.
• Supporting Quality Assurance and Buyers to resolve supplier and supply chain issues

What do you need to succeed?

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in sourcing or purchasing (industrial experience a plus).
• Experience managing large numbers of SKUs and complex supply chains.
• Technical aptitude-ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with supplier development, performance reviews, and risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with Kanban systems and ERP software.
• Solid experience in contract management, including international agreements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-comfortable collaborating across departments.
