Who are you?

We are looking to hire a motivated & experienced Mechanical Engineer in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic systems, and the ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

What will you do?

• Analyze engineering specifications and customer requirements
• Design hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder components using SolidWorks
• Select purchased components and perform engineering calculations
• Produce drawings and bills of materials using CAD and ERP tools
• Review drawings for accuracy, materials, tolerances, and finishes
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards and safety requirements
• Assist in developing test plans and performance verification
• Communicate with customers and internal teams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Adherence to safe work practices

What do you need to succeed?

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar engineering role
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Proficiency in SolidWorks; PDM experience an asset
• Understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes
• Experience with ISO quality environments considered an asset
• Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
