Who are you?

We are looking to hire a motivated & detail-oriented SolidWorks Designer/Drafter in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should be able to produce accurate drawings, support the engineering team, and work both independently and with others.

What will you do?

• Create, revise, and update detailed parts and assembly drawings
• Convert manual drawings and markups into SolidWorks models 
• Measure sample cylinders to produce accurate 3D models
• Perform dimensioning and basic calculations under guidance
• Check drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and customer specs
• Work collaboratively with engineers, welders, machinists, and production staff
• Support design-for-manufacturing practices and continuous improvement
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Conscious of and adherence to safe work practices

What do you need to succeed?

• SolidWorks proficiency required; advanced knowledge an asset
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM, Bluebeam, or CAM software beneficial
• Mechanical Engineering diploma, degree, or equivalent experience preferred
• Understanding of machining, welding, and assembly processes
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
