What will you do?

• Follow all company safety rules
• Move parts from fabrication to the proper staging area
• Sort weld assemblies, parts and stage in proper location in a timely fashion as per
  supervisor request
• Ensure all materials delivered in a timely fashion
• Handle material from warehouse for pre assembly and final assembly.
• Kitting of parts for pre assembly and final assembly.
• Identify and report any possible quality problems with parts
• Ensure accurately labels of materials
• Follow up any inaccuracies or discrepancies and coordinates with proper personnel
• Notifies proper personnel/Supervisor of shortages in material required to complete work.
• Counts inventory as required
• May assist in expediting parts through the production process
• Performs multiple visits daily to all areas ensuring materials needs are filled (milk runs)
• Night Shift Material handler responsibilities also include warehouse technician tasks as required to support the night shift.

What do you need to succeed?

• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent fork lift operation skills
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Must work well with other departments
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to read blue prints and use measuring instruments

Working Conditions:

• Must be capable of sitting, walking, and standing for long amounts of time.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing pulling up to 50lbs.
• Frequent stooping, reaching.
• Moving over rough/uneven ground.
• Occasionally balancing on high/narrow places.
• Occasionally climbing ladders and stairs.
• Performing physical labor for long periods of time.
• Daily work outside in the elements (cold, heat, rain, snow).
• Hours of Work: 4 x 10 hours, Monday to Thursday, Night Shift 5:30 PM – 4 AM
• Must be willing to relocate to Humboldt/Englefeld area
• Must be eligible work legally in Canada
