CNC Saw Operator/Yardperson

PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time based individual in our Yorkton Plant.

We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

Who are you?

We are looking to hire a motivated & hard-working CNC Saw Operator/Yardperson in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and leadership in the yard area.

What will you do?

• Operate CNC and manual saws, cutting material to precise specifications
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
• Pull, inspect, and verify product before processing
• Safely set up equipment to run material according to work orders
• Verify product meets specifications per written instructions and record measurements
• Maintain organization and inventory of raw material in the yard
• Load and unload shipments, including rigging and securing material
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance and routine shop clean-up
• Assist in packaging of material when required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Conscious of and adherence to safe work practices

What do you need to succeed?

• Forklift experience required
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use calipers
• Previous experience with metal saws or CNC equipment considered an asset
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
