Sales Representative - Agricultural Equipment

What will you do?

  • Sales & Relationship Building: Actively identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of our agricultural equipment offerings to confidently demonstrate and recommend the best solutions to customers.
  • Customer Consultations: Meet with Dealers to assess their needs, provide product demonstrations, and offer tailored solutions to improve their sales operations.
  • Travel & Territory Management: Manage a defined sales territory, traveling regularly to visit Dealers, attend trade shows, and promote our products.
  • Sales Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups. Report on sales forecasts and performance regularly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product delivery.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies and stay ahead of market demands.

What do you need to succeed?

  • University/College degree or diploma in Business Administration or Marketing, or a related field
  • Previous sales experience at a retail or wholesale level required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven negotiation ability
  • Working knowledge of agriculture and agricultural equipment an asset
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude is a definite asset
  • Strong analytical skills, computer literacy and excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • High level of drive and initiative
