What will you do?
· Develop and implement sales initiatives, forecasts and budgets, in coordination with all departments of short line division.
· Oversee the Territory Managers, independent reps and distributors and meet annual share of short line equipment through current and new dealer development.
· Optimize customer satisfaction and independent dealer network through the development and implementation of a territory business plan and monitor performance.
· Ensure effective sales process to achieve sales targets
· Manage/attend tradeshows and coordinate marketing activities to grow brand presence
· Conduct Dealer Product training in collaboration with Territory Managers
· Conduct yearly reviews on dealer standards and quality
· Communicate issues, concerns, and competitive information from the field to Product Manager
· Deal with Dealer / Customer requests and complaints
· Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and set up action plans to meet customer expectation
· Develop sales channels including business with OEM Customers
· Ensure efficient and on time reporting on all aspects of sales
· Communicate to all the departments of short line division and corporate divisions to ensure effective communication sharing inside the company as well as maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Propose new initiatives for improvement related to all areas of short line division activity.
What do you need to succeed?
· Post-Secondary education in related discipline is preferred
· 5+ years of experience in agriculture equipment sector
· Strong track record of building, leading and supervising a high performance sales team
· Excellent verbal and written communications
· Strong decision making skills and excellent judgement when the company's reputation is at stake
· Ability to target, plan and execute initiatives in a clear and concise manner.
· Computer efficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Strong Leadership and Time Management Skills.
· Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
· Ability to travel 50% of the time, with required valid driver's license and passport.
Working Conditions:
· 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; with exceptions for travel
· Intensive travel is required to Canada, USA, and Worldwide as necessary (estimate 50% travel, 50% office)
