Delivery Driver/Customer Service Representative

Who are you?
Cloverdale Paint is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver/Customer Service Representative position with open availability at our store in Saskatoon, SK.
This is a hybrid role in which the successful applicant will be trained as both a Customer Service Representative and a Delivery Driver. We are preparing for the upcoming retirement of our current delivery driver. In the meantime, the selected applicant will work full-time as a CSR until the driver fully retires.
We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and customer-focused Delivery Driver. Responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner while ensuring excellent customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will represent our company on the road and play an essential part in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Wage is negotiable depending on previous experience.

What will you do?
Customer Service
- Answering basic customer inquiries in person and by phone
- Determining and recommending products to customers ensuring the customer is supplied with all items required for their project
- Tinting & shaking paint
- Be able to key in sales and operate basic functions of the POS system
Delivery Driver
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers' locations.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle and ensure the items are secured.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure all items are accounted for.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns or issues professionally.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean driving record and vehicle.
- Communicate with the store team regarding delivery statuses, delays, or concerns.
- Complete delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Assist with inventory management and loading/unloading at the warehouse when necessary.
- Ensure timely deliveries within scheduled windows.
- Handle any necessary returns or exchanges in accordance with company procedures.
What do you need to succeed?
- At least 1-year of Retail Sales and/or Paint Industry experience
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Full class 5 driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Team player
- Strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude
The following are an asset:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role is a plus.
- Experience with handling a delivery van.
