PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time based individual in our Yorkton Plant.

We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

Who are you?

We are looking to hire a motivated & hard-working permanent full-time mechanical assembler in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand the whole process from design to manufacturing & be able to work independently and with a team.

What will you do?

• Assemble, fit & install parts of hydraulic cylinders
• Use tools & adjust position & align parts for proper fit
• Report assembly/product issues
• Use automated/robotic equipment
• Operate hoists to move product/position larger parts
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions
• Study job orders & interpret blueprints
• Assist in cleaning work area & equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment & machinery
• Good communication skills.
• Conscious of and adherence to safe work practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous work experience with ISO quality control environment and support the Quality Control objectives of the company.

What do you need to succeed?

• Preference to those who can demonstrate an understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly;
• Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada.
