Product Support Representative - North Dakota, Northern MN Territory

Who are you?

Reporting to the Product Support Supervisor, the Product Support Representative provides after sales support for all MacDon Products. They work in territory with our dealers and customers to investigate product issues, address customer concerns, and provide product training. As part of the larger MacDon team they coordinate closely with the factory, providing information helping drive design changes and better understanding of customer needs.

What will you do?

  • Work with Product Support Supervisors, Product Support Specialists, Territory Sales Representatives and Dealer Personnel to address product issues or customer concerns.

  • Lead in territory investigation and troubleshooting, creating detailed reports on product issues to help bring awareness and assist designers, etc. in developing product changes.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Dealer support personnel to ensure a positive experience for customers of MacDon equipment.

  • Instruct technical training for dealer technicians and end users.

  • Perform demonstrations of new products.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Related University or College Degree, or equivalent experience

  • A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team

  • A solid technical background in diagnosis and repair of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems

  • Understanding of agricultural equipment and its operation, including experience with grain harvesting equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with a remote team

  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Products: Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Travel is required 60% - 70% of the time. Valid passport required (must be able to cross Canadian US Border)

  • Must hold and maintain valid driver's license

Position territory is for North Dakota, Northern Minnesota. The candidate will preferably reside in territory
