Who are you?

Cloverdale Paint is seeking an ambitious individual for a part-time position with open availability at our store in Nanaimo, BC. We are looking for someone to work approximately 2-4 shifts per week. In the summer, we can allow for up to 40 hours per week. We are accepting resumes in store at 1273 Island Highway South Parkway Plaza, Nanaimo, BC. Wage is negotiable depending on previous experience.

What will you do?

• Answering basic customer inquiries in person and by phone
• Determining and recommending products to customers ensuring the customer is supplied with all items required for their project
• Tinting & shaking paint
• Be able to key in sales and operate basic functions of the POS system

What do you need to succeed?

• At least 1-year of Retail Sales and/or Paint Industry experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly
• Capable of standing for long periods of time
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Team player
• Strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude
