What will you do?

  • Unload inbound trucks and physically receives Inbound Schulte products that are designated for Schulte production and other areas of the plant
  • Complete product inspection procedures immediately upon receiving a shipment (quality, quantity, and packaging) by reviewing appropriate revision level drawing,
    vendor drawing, if available
  • Report any non-conforming product to Warehouse Supervisor
  • Customer service to internal departments as required - production, maintenance, repair, R&D, Parts department, and front office
  • Production run staging, plus changeover in final and delivering parts on the production floor as needed
  • Sheet and plate rotation responsibilities and general inventory rotation
  • Housekeeping and inventory housing responsibilities as directed by supervisor
  • Responsible for following Corporate, Quality Assurance (ISO), and safety related standards, policies and procedures and participating in all required training
  • Responsible for Safe forklift operation
  • Follow safe work procedures, work in a safe manner and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Responsible to participate in keeping all work areas clean
  • Follow and promote inbound delivery sign in procedures for all Inbound deliveries
  • Actively participate in Continuous Systems Improvement (CSI) and Kanban procedures
  • Willing to work on special inventory projects as set out by management
  • Proper inventory practices to promote utilization of space
  • Assist with cycle counting as required by management
  • Unload inbound trucks as required
  • Utilize time appropriately and promote an organized work environment
  • Some later evening work will be required as directed by Supervisor or Manager
  • Prepare products for shipment (parts shipments, tires etc.)
  • Enter inventory into JDEdwards
  • Other duties as assigned

What do you need to succeed?

  • Ability to read a tape measure and calipers
  • Transportation of dangerous goods training (WHMIS)
  • Forklift Safety training
  • Strong math and computer skills
  • Must be capable of handling heavier items
  • Good communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily in an environment indoors with frequent walking in and around a non-climate controlled metal manufacturing plant.
  • Occasional lifting, pushing or pulling of 20 pounds, stooping, reaching, bending, and climbing in and around fabricated metal parts and manufacturing equipment.
  • Some work outside in the elements (cold, heat, rain, snow) will be required.
  • 4 x 10 hour shift, Day Shift 7 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Must be willing to relocate to Humboldt/Englefeld area
  • Must be eligible work legally in Canada
