What will you do?

  • Develops budgets and forecasts including monthly, yearly, and 5-year planning.
  • Analyzes budget to actual variances.
  • Develops capital budget and monitor spending.
  • Responsible for preparing and making recommendations for the P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Prepares all financial reports as required or requested.
  • Manages liquidity needs.
  • Oversees credit functions.
  • Prepares month-end closings on a timely basis.
  • Analyzes inventory.
  • Implements Group Policies and Procedures at the local company level.
  • Supervises and develops direct reports.
  • Interacts with internal and external auditors in completing audits and tax returns.
  • Adheres to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required CPA desired, not required.
  • CPA desired, not required.
  • Five+ years Controller or Assistant Controller level experience in manufacturing.
  • Minimum of five years leading exempt level employees, including training and staff development; Ability to give employee feedback in verbal and written form succinctly and timely.
  • Knowledge of general accounting practice, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbal.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency.
  • Experience with and knowledge of SAP very desirable.
  • Process focused continually looking for improvements to gain efficiency.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment and with strong attention to detail.
